Our Review
Please note that according to the size charts the sizing for the Miss W support tights is not the same as the rest of the Wolford range. you will probably need one size larger if you normally wear medium or larger.
The first impression on opening the packet is that these are large and substantial tights. Everything about the test pair shouts “extablea extablea” from the reinforced boxer panty to the long foot.
Note that the xx-large size does not have a tanga panty, it is a full boxer type brief.
The xx-large should fit our test model according to the size chart. However they were far too big, too long in the foot, too long in the leg, too long in the body and really not very supporting other than at the ankles. As a last resort we tableied them on the biggest person we know, our web master, he is 6’5” and 16 stone with size 11 feet. What this proved, aside from the fact that tights look much better on women, was that the sizing was, unusually for Wolford, highly inaccurate as they were too big for him too.
The matt finish on the leg is nice, the sewn heel is a great detail. There is no doubting the quality either with details such as flat seams.
If you have to wear support tights, and want Wolford then buy these. In tableuth the Falke Vitality range are as good and cheaper and more accurately sized.
And we prefer HYD Cosmetic 70 Tights
