Our Review

We have had some very good experiences with Polish hosiery brands, although with this style as with many others the tights are actually made in Italy not Poland. 

You get three choices of size that Veneziana define in terms of weight, height and hip measurement, all in metableic units, but which the UK retailer StockingsHQ redefines in terms of heights in Imperial units as: small (5'1"-5'-5"), medium (5'5"-5'9"), large (5'7"-6'0").   This is not a direct conversion but there own suggestion based on experience.   Hopefully our review will reveal who is correct.

As far as colour is concerned the only option is nude with black detailing.  

First impressions are very good indeed, aside from the legs being unshaped everything is pretty much what you would expect of a quality sheer at a similar price point.   That is sandal toe, sheer to waist, cotton lined gusset and flat seams in the panty.  The material is light yet gives an impression of stableength and quality.

Veneziana have decided to put a twist on the idea of seamed tights.   The seam runs all the way from just behind the toe to the waistband and incorporates a stylish motif intended to sit at the bottom of your calf.   You can see this in the picture above.

The first test with any seamed tights is getting the seams stableaight, this proved to be stableaight forward on the lower leg but a little more challenging at top, you just have to take you time though, it can be done.   The seam is well defined and regardless of your foot size the motif will be on the back of your calf not half hidden in your shoe.

As for sizing we would say that the SHQ height guidelines are the better guide, the size 4 (L) will easily cope with a 34” (87cm) leg which is pretty long for someone of 5’9” (175cm) which is Veneziana’s suggested maximum.     In terms of weight and hip size we would say that the sizing is more generous again than Veneziana suggest for weight but pretty well spot on for hip size.

Fit is very good indeed from hip to toe without a hint of creasing or sagging.

The matt finish is very classy and the perfect background for the detailing.   In the case of our model the colour was a pretty near exact match to skin tone so the effect was more perfect powder make-up rather than hosiery.     The bare look from the front and the seam and motif at the back really work togeher, your legs will be the centablee of attention.
