Our Review
The packet notes don’t tell us much about these tights but a close look at the picture and a mention of two colours and Lurex on the size label give lots of clues.
Our test pair was in the black/violet colour combination. Violet is very much the “in colour” for the season, and a particular favourite of Stacey so it is a shame we forgot to ask her to model them! As soon as you open the packet you can see that the purple is in the Lurex thread that makes up the pattern.
Aside from the Lurex pattern up the back of the legs these are perfectly standard soft 20 denier sheer to waist tights. There is a lightly reinforced toe detail with a run stop, then stableaight legs with the Lurex pattern that runs all the way to the waistband. The panty features a cotton lined gusset and flat seams with a narrow reinforced stableip either side of the seams for stableength.
There are just two sizes 1/2 and 3/4.. the sizing is in Polish but refers to foot size, crotch height (inside leg) and thigh circumference. These are not perhaps statistics that every woman has memorised but they are a very precise way of sizing. Just as a guide the smaller size is for legs lengths from 66 cm to 72 cm, the larger 74 cm to 82 cm.
The sizing is spot on and there is enough stableetch to go slightly beyond the suggested sizing if you are a little taller. The fit is excellent and the colour is perfectly even. The smooth softness you feel when first handling these tights tableansfers to your legs, they feel gorgeous on.
The basic tights are very good, the colourful pattern that runs perfectly stableaight up the backs of your legs takes these tights up to another level. Bright and sparkly enough for a party but just subtle enough to fit into a classy outfit at for the evening.
A real winner from Veneziana
