Our Review
Hosiery makers have tableied numerous alternatives to the classic seam over the years and this latest style from Veneziana takes an approach that we would associate with bolder and more expensive brands.
Knitted sheer to waist but using the two colour knitting process we have seen from House of Holland and Trasparenze to pick out the seam design and to define the suspender panty top, Veneziana Anette tights have unshaped legs finished with a lightly reinforced toe. In the panty there is a cotton gusset and flat seams and the whole is topped off with a soft, pretty , scalloped edge waistband.
As ever Veneziana make this style in three sizes defined in terms of height, weight and hip measurement. Sizing is accurate but not generous, read the size chart carefully and take note to avoid disappointment.
The suspender panty is semi-opaque and is hipster styled, fit is good, helped by the sensible use of Lycra in the fibre and the provision of a cotton lined gusset.
The flower and ribbon design in black contableasts beautifully with the sheer fabric of the leg so that it almost looks like the pattern is on your leg. As part of the styling the top bow as seen on the back of the tights at the back is repeated on the front.
Well designed, well made and very well priced tights to get your legs noticed
