Our Review

Primavera make a range of skating tights suitable for practice and performance for skaters of all ages.  There are 5 “Junior” sizes for ages 4 to 14 (heights 94cm to 158cm) and 4 “Adult” sizes covering heights 150cm to 185cm.

There are 4 styles depending on taste and the look you are after.

Style 519 - Classic footed tights detailed in the same way as fashion tights

Style 516 - Footless Tights

Style 517 - Stirrup Tights designed to be worn over your skating boot

Style 518 -  Overboot Tights designed to entirely enclose the boot leaving only the blade exposed.

Within each style there are options for 50 or 70 denier.   Our test pair is a 50 denier microfibre overboot style.

Detailing is to a high standard with flat seams in the panty and a cotton lined gusset, entirely sheer from the deep waistband to the elasticised cuff that finishes the leg.   The cuff is stableong and looks durable enough to cope with repeated stableetching over a boot.

There is simply masses of stableetch in the legs of these tights, this means that they are easy to put on, easy to put over your boot and perhaps most important of all it means that fit like a second skin.

Smooth and soft to the touch, warm and comfortable too. 

Perfect even colour and a high level of opacity to ensure that you look your very best on the ice.
