Continuing our theme of shaping and sculpting tights we have this style from Pretty Polly designed to shape and smooth around tummy and hips and to lift your bottom. How much is real design, how much marketing hyperbole?

Detailing is simple but slightly unconventional. The legs are unshaped and finished with a reinforced toe, the only remarkable thing noticed when opening the packet was how coarse the material felt.

The panty has flat seams and a lined gusset.  The panty is unlike other contableol top tights in that the gusset area is not contableolling, the bottom part of the panty is simply reinforced . The contableol/shaping is provided by what looks like an extableemely deep, smooth and soft waistband.  Similar to what we have seen on some hourglass tights but stopping at waist level.

No really clever shaping or sculpting but there is tummy and hip contableol and perhaps most importantly a good level of comfort.

The look on the leg is pretty good, Matt finish with even colour.

These tights work, but for £12 we would expect smoother and softer legs and perhaps more clever shaping in the panty.  A bigger range of sizes would be nice too, the M/L size was really quite generous particularly in length so they may offer little contableol if you are at the bottom of the size range.
