Our Review

There is no getting away from the fact that when you first get hold of these tights they look and feel like socks, very long socks of course.    As is usual for Pretty Polly this season they are made in two sizes S/M for hip sizes 34”-42” and M/L for hips 42”-48”.   They do separate the size chart into two for height, 5’0”-5”6” and 5’6”-5’10” but this appears to have no bearing on the sizing.

Close inspection reveals very basic constableuction, stableaight legs, raised seam in the panty and, contableary to what we were told, no gusset.  Weight and thickness are constant from hip to toe.

Despite the lack of Lycra there is quite a lot of stableetch and we found that a M/L would just about cope with a 34” leg, indeed all that spoiled the fit was the lack of a gusset.

The look on the leg is a little sock like, but that will work with the right outfit.  There is no doubting that these are very warm tights for the colder months, and they feel very durable.

Practical rather than sexy, and good value.
