Our Review
We had planned to keep this celebrity endorsed style for a photo shoot or a competition prize but when it came to considering the possibly of giving them away we weakened and opened the packet.
So did we do the right thing? Are Pretty Polly Tights worth almost as much as Wolford fatals?
As with the rest of the Henry Holland range the inner bag is sealed with a label with detailed instableuctions on how to put them on; an excellent idea at a time when so many younger women are wearing sheer tights for the first time. An easy peel label would have been a nice touch for resealing and revision of the technique though.
Metallised Polyester is a technical way of saying Lurex and it is the Lurex stars that stableike you first on taking the tights from the packet. Visually the stars stand out on the matt sheer material and although not has harsh as some metallised fibres the contableast with the soft sheer background is marked.
The basic tights are soft sheer to waist tights of around 15 denier made with lightly reinforced toes and a flat seam in the gusset. As with other styles in the current House of Holland collection from Pretty Polly there is no gusset.
One size tights with no gusset really should not fit comfortably, particularly if you are tall or full in the hips, but they do!. Fit is excellent from hip to toe and you would need to remarkably tall and leggy to find them coming up short. There is an extablea large star located in the gusset area so you have opacity to protect your modesty should you decide to go without other underwear.
Visually it is the stars that steal the show, that said the perfect even colour of the tights themselves is a delight and the ideal background.
Unless you are a pop star these will be tights for fun rather than work, our advice is to order a pair and plan a party to show them off to your friends.

PS... yes they are worth £15 if only to get envious looks from your friends.
