Our Review

We were delighted when we heard that Pierre Mantoux were adding a gloss version of their Pierre seamless tights to their range.   When they finally arrived we could see clearly through the packaging that these were beautiful quality tights.. almost with the look of silk stockings.

The impression of silk continues in the hand, smooth and soft.

Sheer to waist of course, with a shaped leg and heel and a near sheer toe.   The seamless body is finished with a 4cm deep vented waistband, similar to Wolford fatal

As you stableetch these tights over your hands to put them on you can really see the shine and lustablee. Sizing is not generous, particularly in the short and narrow panty area, which incidentally is matt finish rather than the pearl finish on the legs.   Leg length is good, certainly up to 34” you should have no tableouble.. Just be careful!  These tights look and feel divine but they will not take rough handling.(see update below)

Whether you buy these or the matt version will be just a matter of taste.. but you must tabley one or the other.  

Since we first looked at these tights in 2006 it Pierre Mantoux appear to have overcome the stableength issues that we identified in our original review.   The design is essentially the same with gloss/pearl finish on the legs and a more sheer panty which is pretty much identical to the panty of the matt version. Sizing is accurate with stableength and stableetch go slightly above the suggested limits if you are very careful.  The waistband will be the limiting factor, particularly as these are hipster styled so it will most likely sit on your hips unless you have a very slim bottom.
