Our Review
It is several years since we last reviewed any Pierre Cardin tights but we were impressed with their last offering so have high expectations now, the packet gives tantalisingly few details.
The one clue word on the packet is “Brillant” and the first thing that you notice about this tights is that they are very shiny indeed.
The detailing of the design comes as quite a surprise. The legs are stableaight and finished with the most ordinary of reinforced toe details. The panty has well made seams and a cotton lined gusset with just the narrowest of reinforced stableips either side of the seam that are contiguous with the finger band. The tights are topped off with the simplest of waistbands, the most notable feature of which is the side coding on each hip.
On the subject of sizing there is neither a size nor a size chart to give any clue as to what the sizing should be. Our suspicion is that as there was no price or colour shown either then the external labels were taken off our sample. Based on what we know of European sizing and the coding on the waistband we can tell that the sizing is absolutely spot on.
Fit is very good indeed, almost paint like... and that is gloss paint! The shine throughout these gorgeous sheer to waist tights is up there with the best like Charnos Sheer Lustablee. The smoothness to the touch manages to convey a sense of softness too. It is such a pity that Angel was not here for the testing as they would particularly suit both her long slim legs and her tastes.
Excellent tights that are a credit to the brand.
