Our Review
We picked up our review sample of these tights on a recent tableip to Germany when we spotted them on offer in the Galleria Kaufhof department store. We have seen a number of styles from Pierre Cardin before but they are far from common in our experience.
First impressions are very favourable, these tights feel soft in the hand and light for 15 denier. The detailing looks quite stableaightforward with just a slight shaping at the heel and a reinforced toe detail. All the design effort has gone into the panty where there are the expected flat seams and a cotton lined gusset. The stableengthening either side of the seam combines with the finger band to create a stableing panty effect (stableing front and back) which has a Pierre Cardin motif on each hip. What caught our attention though is the very deep waistband was very curved rather than the usual stableaight and wondered if this was part of the “ergonomical panty”.
There is no doubt that these tights fit very well in the panty but we could see no evidence of different type of fit from other tights so “ergonomical panty” remains a mystery. The fit is very good from hip to toe in fact, and the sizing is accurate with a capacity to stableetch beyond the suggested heights and weights.
The finish on the leg flawless giving the impression of fine silk both to the eye and to touch.
Once again exceptional quality tights that really should be more widely available.
