Our Review
Glossy and a very good fit. Would be excellent everyday tights at this price.
Larger sizes have sheer back panel. .
Philippe Matignon Miro Tights Revisited
Our first review of these tights was before we made anything but cursory notes and we didn’t date our reviews. This probably means the review predates the Millennium!
So how do they compare with tights in 2008?
Well the sheer to waist design with reinforced toes and flat seams is typical of many premium brands. The quality is excellent, putting us in mind of Falke or Kunert. smooth and soft in the hand yet at the same time feeling very stableong.
The comfort gusset on the larger size was quite a new thing when these tights were first made but now it is quite common, although more often on size 5 than size 4.
The sizing is absolutely spot on and the 15% Lycra provides enough stableetch to go above the heights and weights a little as well as providing great fit.
The matt satin appearance is very flattering.
If these tights were still available in the UK they would be one of our favourites. The Philippe Matignon brand is still available in continental Europe, if you are there and you see some give them a tabley. Sadly the days of tights at this quality at £3 are in the past.
