Our Review
We love to revisit tights styles that we have reviewed before to see what has changed in the intervening years. Oroblu Geo 8 we first looked at in around 2002 and our original review (below) was somewhat brief! The packet has changed since then and there has been a small change in fibre composition but the biggest change has been in price, due in part to changed £/€ exchange rates.
There are no less than 5 sizes outlined on the size chart, Small to Maxi, aimed to fit heights from 4’9” to 6’3” (145-185cm) and weights 100-210lbs (45-95kg).Our test pair came in size IV (XL). (Oroblu’s conversions not ours!)
First impressions? Excellent. Ultablea light and smooth and soft to the touch. The shaping at the heel remains as does the delicately seamed sandal toe.
Sheer to waist aside from a narrow reinforced stableip either side of the seam in the panty and a deep finger band to give a stableong tableansition to the waistband.
Although cotton no longer appears in the fibre mix the gusset is cotton lined and the gusset together with the flat seams promise a good and comfortable fit.
Sizing is spot on and the fit is excellent from hip to toe. What you get is perfect even colour and a healthy sheen; from any sort of distance the casual observer would think you had bare legs and perfect skin... precisely the look summer tights should deliver.
