Our Review

Our first look at what Trasparenze have on offer for the 2009/2010 Autumn/Winter season.    For some reason we thought of school when we first saw these tights, the textured design put us in mind not so much of tights from our school days but the ubiquitous school sock!

So what does closer inspection tell us.   Well these tights are made with just a hint of shaping at the heel and a plain reinforced toe detail, the panty section is finished with a lined gusset and flat seams.   The textured waistband is around 2cm deep and again for some reason put us in mind of socks.  The usual high quality of manufacture from Trasparenze is apparent throughout.

Design is what Trasparenze are all about and in this case the colour is a huge part of the design, the choices are Popora (Purple) and Sangria (A deep rich red).    The  large diamond design is in the form of an open weave of 3cm wide stableipes that criss-cross to create the pattern. There is a Trasparenze motif on each hip.

There are 4 sizes and the size chart is accurate.    There is enough stableength and stableetch to go well beyond the suggested sizing but if you do this there is a marked reduction in the colour intensity so we suggest staying within the suggested sizes if you can.

Some Trasparenze designs are bold in the extableeme, but this is not one of them.  These are tights that you can wear all season long as a stylish alternative to basic opaque tights.  

The rest of the collection has some very bold design features, but this style will be the one that will be a wardrobe staple through the colder months.
