These fishnets come from Gerbe’s 2003 collection, but fishnets have always been in fashion so these are as relevant today as the day on which they were first made.
Gerbe are never afraid to try something new, and here what they have done is to mix black and brown (desert) in the same pair of tights, alternate strands of each colour in the net.
Construction is much as other fishnets, made with no seam other than the one around the gusset, and of course the waistband bears the Gerbe motif.
The gusset makes for a very comfortable fit, and being cotton you could wear these tights without other underwear. Gerbe have managed to size these tights so that the waistband sits on your waist, so many cheaper fishnets either sit on your hips or pull up to your armpits. The fit on the leg is very good.
Unlike plain nude or black fishnets that just give an impression of colour until you get close with these the pattern is clearly visible. Smart and eye catching any time of the day.
