The trend in Europe for women to wear sheer tights under their legging has been remarked on by a number of commentators recently, and it is no surprise that Fiore and a couple of other makers have taken the step on combining the leggings and sheer tights in one garment.
These are tights of three parts. There is a panty section which is finished with flat seams and a cotton gusset (sizes 3 & 4) and a 3 cm deep waistband. The pantry section is quite deep.
The panty section merges into the legs which are of the same weight but a different knit, so there is a clear demarkation just below the gusset.
Just above the ankle the weight of the straight legs changes from opaque to sheer and Fiore have added a geometric motif. The sheer legs/feet are finished with a near invisible lightly reinforced toe.
As ever the fit is very good and the sizing is accurate, a benefit of Fiore gets from many of its designs being variations on a theme rather than something entirely new.
One small surprise is that if you run your hand down your leg you can’t feel the transition from the opaque upper to the more sheer lower leg.
At £2.59 these tights are a bargain and a great way to get the latest look.
