If we gave prizes for the variety of materials in a pair of tights then Fiore Pandora would be a real contender. Based a the classic 40 denier semi-opaque microfibre this style uses both polypropylene and Lurex in the leaf inspired motif down the outside of each leg.
As far as construction is concerned these are far more basic than most tights in the Fiore Golden Line Range. The straight legs are finished with an invisibly reinforced toe, which we like; but the panty is a boxer style with raised seams which leaves us pretty cold... the one saving grace is the cotton lined gusset in sizes 3&4. To be fair to Fiore if you look at the graphics on the packet back they do indicate that there is a boxer style brief, but it is easy to miss those extra lines on the pictures.
The soft material has very good even colour density and makes a perfect background for the design.
Sizing is spot on as is usual for Fiore and the fit is OK too.
The design is gorgeous, grey with silver highlights on black is a stunning combination that catches the eyes and increases the impression of length; at the same time it oozes class and sophistication. What a pity then that Fiore decided to use this design on one of there least impressive basic tights; please Fiore make a better version based on sheer to waist tights with flat seams, it will be worth the extra money.
